Disney has just released the official full-length trailer for the animation live-action remake of ‘Aladdin’ and it will certainly leave you on the edge of your seats with anticipation.

The movie is set to hit UK and US cinemas on May 24, 2019.

A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, “Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined

The first teaser trailer came out in October last year and it was met with a lot of wincing and scepticism from the audience. It showed only a lot of sand and rock and none of the copious CGI magic that has come to be expected of Disney’s live action films.

The second trailer came out a little later with a better idea of what to expect from the film, however, it faced a lot of backlash as fans weren’t too pleased with how the Genie played by Will Smith – who is filling the shoes of the late Robin Williams who played the voice of the Genie in the 1992 animation – was made to look.

Finally all worries have been put to rest with the full trailer which has given eager viewers an exciting trip into Aladdin’s world. The Genie can be seen to possess just as much pizazz, punch, yahoo that is reminiscent of the 1992 animated classic. We also got to see the moment Aladdin played by Mena Massoud sees Princess Jasmine played by British actress, Naomi Scott, for the first time, the faithful magic carpet, and trumpet-blowing monkey, Abu.

Marwan Kenzari, who starred in the 2017 movie Murder on the Orient Express, will play the villain Jafar or ‘Hot Jafar’ as he’s now called by fans who believe the actor is a little too good-looking to play the evil Jafar.

The live-action soundtrackis expected to include the popular songs from the 1992 animation including ‘Friend Like Me’ and ‘A Whole New World’ composed by Alan Menken. Some new songs have also been included in the track and audiences are more than excited to watch the full movie in May.
