Engaging in Class Partnerships is the new way to expose our students to globalization. It’s good news that we have technology today that can help us power the process.
Teaching new concepts in the classroom while the students learn only local contents seem not to be sexy anymore.
It’s much more interesting when the students learn these new concepts from a local and broader perspectives, especially if those perspectives are from their peers in countries far away from theirs.
Throughout last year, I have deepened my understanding on connections based learning, which fast forward to this year, I have developed a training content on and also facilitated a session on it.
This is seeming like a new area to be explored by many educators in Nigeria, and I’m happy I’m helping to lead that discussion and possibly- engagement.
For some educators across the globe, it is global exchanges. However for me, it’s the Power of Connection!
