With the way Gov. Amosun is going about the whole episode, he may as well risk everything that is attached to him politically because of Hon. Akinlade Governorship Ambition.

Our politicians never learn from the past. So let us do some political history to help Gov. Amosun regain his conscience.

In January 2007, EFCC arrested Theodore Orji (serving commissioner) for Financial crime. Some weeks after, Gov. Orji Uzor Kalu ensured that Theodore Orji got his Party ticket.

The Governor move round the state to campaign for his anointed candidate who was still in the custody of EFCC.

Theodore Orji won the Governorship Election from Prison without even on campaign ground for once. EFCC was force to release him some days to his swearing-in has the Governor of Abia State in May 2007.

It only took the new Governor 6 months to turn against the man that sacrificed everything to installed him has Governor.

The new “Emperor” dance on the corridor of power for 8 years and the former was side line all through.

How I wish Gov. Ibikunle Amosun can learn from Abia story and move on from this political shenanigan.
