In the Kuti music dynasty, talent is passed down from one generation to the next and from Fela, to Femi and Seun, and now to Femi’s son, Made.

Afrobeat music has become the legacy of the Kuti family. With newfound vigour supporting his rich musical influences, Femi and his group, Positive Force, remain at the forefront of the modern Afrobeat movement and the impact of Afrobeat on global music continues to grow with a new crop of Afrobeat royalty helping to spread its gospel far and wide.

With Femi leading the new sound of the genre, a new cultural movement is being formed and fans are springing up in huge numbers across the globe.

At home, Femi continues the commemoration of his father’s legacy and the entire Afrobeat movement at his club, the New Africa Shrine in Lagos where he holds weekly live performances on Thursday and Sunday evenings.

On the global stage, Femi, managed by Chocolate City Group, continues to move audiences with his unique blend of Afrobeat and in the coming weeks will be Live on stage at some spectacular events. This is a great opportunity for fans of Afrobeat to enjoy good music and live performance:
